Allright. So I've been working hard, trying to keep a three day a week update schedule for my webcomic,
destroyedbyrobots.com, and it's been going great! by this I mean I'm having fun and the occasional folks
laugh at the ridiculous attempts at jokes. Readership is growing slowly and I've only missed one update. fun times!
But to my surprise, a surprising amount of my DA buds, are asking for something different. It seems that
people are interested to see what's going on in the world of a character I created in middle school(good god,
that was nearly two decades ago -don't laugh!) and that is:
The Damager: Agatha Morgan
And I really couldn't be happier. I've finally started crafting my version of a "hero journey" That I've always
wanted to write. I've been staying up late at night worrying about not making it trite or contrived. I've
been staying up late crying, when I realize that everything I write is contrived, then eating donuts and
tearing up paper and starting again.
But I've got it. I've got my beginning and I've got the end. I know where I want this story to go, what message
I'd like to lay down and how I'm going to get there. Each of the three acts will be 176 pages that will make
8 issues per act. I know the big events, but what I want to know is, what are the little things that people
would find interesting to be revealed? The stuff that makes a hopefully good tale that much more enjoyable
to read and hopefully enjoy.
You have my word that when I start putting out pages, They will be to the very best of my ability or else,
they wont be worth showing anybody at all. but I'm asking for opinion - what do you want to know? What
do you want to see? What about the world of this crafty, loyal, tenacious young lass would make this
tale jump out at you and be enjoyable like a giant chocolate chip cookie you got with your 5th cup of
coffee. Let me know and I'll work with it all.
I'm having so much fun, it's keeping my up at night and my energy level is high thanks to the support of
DA and others. It's time to tell this story and make a webcomic site after - and since all my other anologies
reference bakery goods let me end with this. donuts.
Thanks so much!
Thanks for fact-checking and awesome art help! and favs!
and
and big thanks! to for artistic support and motivation! Thanks buddy!

A COVID Week and a Tip Jar
The last few years have been tough ones medically and professionally. Getting through a year of cancer treatment, then my company downsizing. The transition back into freelancing was tough, but in the end fulfilling. I've always been one to put my head down and push through until I find greener Pasteur's. And turns out, I like being my own boss. Unfortunately one thing it doesn't afford me yet is a safety net, and I've found myself laid up with COVID this week. Soberly reminding me that if I'm not at my drawing desk, I'm not making money to buy my ramen and soda that keeps me alive. Now this space is for art and drawing and sharing fun stuff so I'll keep this brief. First, Thank you to anyone and everyone who has checked out my work over the years, commissioned me for work and trusted me with their treasured characters. I am so grateful for this inspirational and creative community especially during the hard times. Second, I feel icky pan-handling so I'll just say instead, If
